Sustainable Reuse of Waste Water (Rally)
Water-borne diseases are one of the severe trauma originating within several populous vicinities due to untreated waste water mostly containing poisonous heavy metals causing epidemic bacterial and parasitic infectious diseases perilous for human and livestock health ultimately straining the economy at all levels. It also affects the productivity and sustainability of land use. For the crops and vegetables, high concentration of chemical pollutants render the edibles to be toxic. Quality of shallow ground water faces harmful mixing of salts etc. Such threats have been alarming for the ecology and further degrading the environmental issues. To address these issues; the HELP Foundation in collaboration with Oxfam, TMA Rajanpur, CO Unit, Youth & CSOs of District Rajanpur organized a rally covering the most affected areas for raising the awareness about the sustainable reuse of waste water, stringently.
